Lone Star LWD Precision Engineering are a leading provider of precision engineered components and specialised surface coatings to the oil, gas and petrochemical industries throughout the world. Lonestar, like many organisations, developed a web presence that offered a brochure of their business and had not previously considered the benefits of optimising keywords. After an initial meeting we agreed the potential benefits of optimising the key phrase ‘precision engineering’. Their website was ranked 79th on Google UK with the phrase prior to our work commencing. We calculated that there were good search volume undertaken that month for the phrase, therefore, to obtain a top 10 position would attract a wealth of enquiries that would benefit the business.
First 4 SEO commenced the optimisation at the beginning of June 2009, within 8 weeks the site had reached 1st page ranking and maintained a position of 7th for the last 4 weeks.
